Account Cancellation
You may cancel your Loopdek subscription at any time. The cancellation process varies depending on your plan type. We believe in making cancellation as straightforward as subscribing.
Free Plan Cancellation
Free plan users can delete their account at any time without any charges or penalties. Simply delete your account from the account settings page.
Pro Plan Cancellation
Pro plan cancellations work as follows:
- Cancel anytime from your account settings
- Service continues until the end of current billing period
- No refund for the current billing period (unless within 7-day guarantee)
- Account reverts to Free plan after cancellation
- Your data remains accessible under Free plan limits
- No automatic renewal after cancellation
Enterprise Plan Cancellation
Enterprise plan cancellations require:
- 30 days advance notice via email to hi@loopdek.com
- Discussion with account manager about migration or data export
- Service continues until end of contract term
- Custom terms may apply based on your agreement
How to Cancel
To cancel your subscription:
- Log into your Loopdek dashboard
- Navigate to Account Settings
- Click on "Billing & Subscription"
- Select "Cancel Subscription"
- Follow the confirmation steps
- You'll receive a confirmation email

Data Retention After Cancellation
After subscription cancellation:
- Account data is retained and accessible under Free plan limits
- Files and deliverables can be exported at any time
- Archived deliverables remain accessible
- If you exceed Free plan limits, you can view but not create new deliverables
- Complete account deletion available upon request
Complete Account Deletion
If you wish to completely delete your account and all data:
- Navigate to Account Settings > Delete Account
- Your data will be retained for 30 days before permanent deletion
- Export your files before deletion if needed
- After 30 days, all data is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered
- You can reactivate within 30 days with all data intact
Reactivation
Cancelled subscriptions can be reactivated at any time:
- Simply upgrade to a paid plan from your account settings
- All your data remains intact after cancellation
- No penalty or reactivation fees
- Pick up right where you left off
Automatic Renewal Prevention
To prevent automatic renewal without cancelling:
- Turn off "Auto-renew" in billing settings
- Your subscription will expire at the end of the billing period
- Account automatically downgrades to Free plan
- You can manually renew anytime
Service Suspension vs Cancellation
We may suspend (not cancel) accounts for policy violations or payment issues. Suspended accounts can be reactivated after resolving the issue. This is different from user-initiated cancellation.
Downgrading vs Cancellation
If you don't want to cancel completely, you can downgrade your plan:
- Downgrade from Enterprise to Pro or Pro to Free
- Downgrade takes effect at next billing cycle
- Your data remains accessible within new plan limits
- No refund for the difference in plan pricing
